What is the Fusion Shot and how does it work?
The Fusion Shot is the first and only true solution to channeling. It changes espresso extraction in profound and unprecedented ways.
When shaped properly, the puck reconstructs itself under pressure, eliminating tiny imperfections that would otherwise become channels.

How do I pull the Fusion Shot?
A proper Fusion Shot requires 3 steps: Shaking, Shaping, Tamping.
Shaking can be done with a traditional shaker or our unique Portashaker.
Shaping is the most critical step. Our Portashaker comes with two unique Small Shapers. For a faster and more consistent shaping experience, we've created the Puck Shaper.
Tamping with our patented D-Flat base on a Happy Tamper is easy, comfy, and consistent.

Fusion Shot Quick Start Guide
1. Use 15 to 18g of fresh beans at any roast level. Grind 50% coarser than usual. Load ground coffee into basket.
2. Shake with a traditional shaker or our unique Portashaker.
3. Shape with our Portashaker or with the Puck Shaper.
4. Tamping with the D-Flat base on a Happy Tamper.
5. Enjoy a cup of channel-free espresso.
